Highlights of Faculty Task Force Recommendations : Travel

Guarantee faculty the right to attend professional meetings, conferences, and other professional activities.
Provide that travel funds for professional activities are allocated in a fair and equitable manner specified in faculty-developed departmental bylaws.
Fully compensate faculty for travel costs incurred to fulfill their assigned duties and for travel undergone for professional reasons.
Mandate that the Administration provide advances on faculty travel expenses.
