Highlights of Faculty Task Force Recommendations : Assignment Dispute Resolution Procedure

Modify to ensure a more level playing field and a generally more balanced process.
Require the administration to provide the grievant with all relevant documentation and its list of witnesses before the hearing.
Remove the provision barring the grievant from using newly discovered evidence at the hearing.
Mandate that the Neutral Umpire suggest a remedy when the assignment is found to be unreasonable and that the administration implement it to the degree possible.
