Salary Data
Faculty salary data given in the links below are only available "raw", but the information is still very useful. The data includes names of faculty, their departments, position code, and faculty rank.
Salaries are calculated based on "weeks per year" (a full year or 12 months is 52.2 weeks) and "percent effort" (7500 or 75% is commonly assigned). There are two salary numbers: previous year's salary, and current year's salary.
The number of weeks in an academic year, or a ten-month position, varies across colleges. "Effort" can change from year to year and is also dependent on actual appointment dates.
Also note that the salary figures do not coincide with what was actually earned in any specific academic or calendar year, since these numbers reflect the salary level on a particular date, and are not pro-rated to reflect salary raises that apply to the year in question.
